The views from the rooms were breathtaking and the
staff was incredibly welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary upgrade to a larger room and the quality of the meals at the restaurant. However, the steep climb to our room made it challenging after long days of activities.

the views are nice, but the shared walls of the "superior" room felt more like a sketchy motel than a vacation spot. I also expected a complimentary upgrade—guess I’m not special enough? the staff were friendly, but I woudl ve appreciated some actual luxury. I almost gave a good review but just couldn’t with so many inconveniences.

The location of Jinetes de Osa is fantastic, positioned right between the town and beautiful beaches. The ocean view is stunning from the dining area, especially during breakfast. The selection includes fresh fruit, cereal, and various egg dishes, providing plenty of options to start the day. The staff truly stand out. Ashley is incredible, accommodating requests effortlessly. Rolando, our tour guide, made the Corcovado excursion memorable and exciting. The superior room offers ample space with good air conditioning, but the climb up the 150 steps can be quite exhausting. The room and grounds show signs of wear, which detracted from the overall experience. Bathrooms need better lighting, and the showerhead issues were inconvenient. While the restaurant food was decent, some meals felt a bit too upscale compared to the simplicity we craved. Adjustments in room maintenance and kitchen focus could enhance the stay significantly.

Great views of the bay and a nice porch with seating for two helped us enjoy our morning coffee. The location offers easy access to local hiking trails and excursions, making it an ideal spot for exploring the area.
The room we stayed in could use some TLC. the bathroom wasn't exactly inviting, with a shower that got lukewarm after a long wait. Be ready to tackle 150 steep steps in 95% humidity just to get to your room, which can be a workout after a day of exploring. The mosquito mesh around the window had holes, so bug repellent became a must at night. Overall, it’s a decent spot, but it feels a bit rough around the edges compared to more polished places nearby.
